Exchange & return deadline

We would like to encourage our customers to always take a receipt when purchasing from our store and state if it is a gift, in which case a gift label will be placed on the product. *The return & exchange period is 14 days from the date of purchase and/or according to the date of the receipt or return/exchange label if it was a gift. Christmas exchange labels are valid until January 6.
Exchanges/returns can only be made against presentation of the original receipt for products that are unused and still in their unopened, undamaged original packaging. If the product is sealed, the seal must not be broken. Refunds are made without exception in the form of a credit note only if the above conditions are met. *Exchange & return policy does not apply to special orders, discounted products, sale products purchased during Singles Day specials or Black Friday discounts, scissors, razors, razor blades, tights, lingerie, hair extensions, eyeliners, eyelash serums, lip liners, mascara, lipsticks, toothbrushes, toothbrush heads, nail polish & eyelashes due to health reasons. Otherwise, reference is made to the Consumer Purchases Act No. 48/2003 and the Consumer Contracts Act. These terms and conditions are in accordance with Icelandic law. If a lawsuit arises due to it, it shall be prosecuted in an Icelandic court.

According to the Consumer Contracts Act No. 16/2016, the consumer has 14 days from the date the contract was concluded between him and the seller to cancel the purchase without any explanation and receive a refund for the product. The consumer must return the product unused and undamaged to the seller. *The right to exchange & return does not apply to special orders, discount products, sale products, scissors, razors, razor blades, tights, underwear, hair extensions, eye pencils, lip pencils, mascara, lipstick, nail polish & eyelashes due to health reasons. Before the order is sent by mail, the buyer can cancel by sending an email to the following address: info@osterby.is. The product may be returned within 14 days of the consumer receiving it. Shipping fees are not refundable if the product is shipped by a carrier. The right to confirm orders by telephone is reserved. Shipping costs for returned items are at the buyer's expense. Shipping and postage costs are not refundable.
